What to Expect

Rosin presses in the lower price ranges will be manual presses.

This means that to move the press plates and apply pressure to your material you will have to manually move some type of handle.

Pressing also tend to be smaller in the lower price ranges.

This means you will have smaller plates with less area to press your material.

Because of this smaller area presses will be able to work with less material at one time, so to extract the same amount of rosin as a larger press you will have to load it multiples times.

As the name suggests, the Rosineer Grip Twist, is a twist type press with a crank wheel versus the others on our list that have a pull lever.

Weighing in at 32 pounds (14.5 kilograms) with the detachable control box (23 pounds (10.5 kilograms) without), it is over twice as heavy as the other presses listed here.

This one has the largest plates on all the presses on our list at 3″ x 5″.

It also has the most pressing force by far with 5,000 pounds of pressing force available.

The base has slots for securely mount the Rosineer Grip Twist to make sure it stays in place while applying that 2.5 tons of available pressing power.
